We are looking for World Class Engineers for Advanced Autonomous Vehicle Technology.

Audi is on an ambitious path towards cars which can deliver a safe autonomous driving mode in expanding operational design domains.

Our organization I/EX seeks world class engineers in the areas of onboard and offboard systems and across the whole automated driving stack (sensors, perception, computation) as well as engineers with expertise in related functions at the vehicle level (UI, actuation, comfort and safety features).

Further experts on safety relevant topics and on data refinement pipelines for deep learning systems are required.

Job Purpose/Role

As Function Owner you are responsible for the correct implementation of all core elements of a function distributed across multiple ECUs.
You represent the Audi implementation of the function in discussions with function owners from other brands within the VW Group and promote a common, collaborative development within the Group.
Further, you define technical concepts and drive cooperation with internal and external partners for the development of endtoend functionality.
Your role includes the definition of the architecture for your advanced functions, system specification, coordination of development activities, supplier management as well as validation and verification of the work products including final approval.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

University Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology or similar
Experience in the development of Automotive Systems / Functional Development
Ideally, experience with new collaborative development models
Fluency in German and English (written, spoken, technical)
You possess good communication skills and enjoy working actively in teams
Diligence, the ability to organize tasks and a high level of selfmotivation complete your profile
