Product Development (M/F/d)

In this role you will are expected to lead the delivery of the banking products required to shape the platform whilst contributing to the vision and product strategy to take to market.

You will also work with the product and engineering team as you build the products and integrate systems necessary to run a fully authorised bank.


Our team is at the heart of building this new venture, focused on developing products that put the customer at the centre.

Job responsibilities

  • Define the product vision, objectives, value propositions and roadmap, based on a deep understanding of the client needs and industry landscape.
  • Perform research, brainstorm solutions, and help guide product direction. Balance opportunities and business needs while keeping stakeholders aligned and supportive.
  • Collaborate with product owners and engineers to find simpler and effective ways to meet the needs of our product and business.
  • Support in defining product requirements, creating and maintaining a prioritised backlog based on customer research, analysis and rigorous discipline and methodology.
  • Partner with technology team crossfunctional teams to define your team goals and drive it to achieve success and to the drive the creation of a crossline of business product strategy and vision.
  • Conduct periodic review of Book of Work (BOW) with all impacted Stakeholders, and track risks and issues.
  • Partner with engineering leads to oversee development teams, ensuring proper sprint planning and proper utilization of development cycles.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills, proficiency in Excel and other analytics tools required.
  • Strong ability to analyse opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written).
  • Thought leader who looks for innovation opportunities for our clients and operational improvement opportunities for our firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous, and regulatory deadlines in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Sound knowledge of endtoend product construct for banking products.
  • Excellent business acumen and familiarity with end to end product management and process workflow.
  • Experience with banking functional architecture frameworks, core banking implementation and account and ledger management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in building banking products, processes and services
  • Strong presentation skills and effective communication with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven track record over multiple years as an individual product manager responsible for value and viability of solutions.
