Your tasks

As part of the team "Catalyst coated membrane", you will contribute significantly to the development of one of the key components in PEM water electrolysis
Your focus is on the identification of structureactivity correlations, especially with regard to the longterm stability of electrolysis cells
You will plan and evaluate the experiments for electrochemical and exsitu characterization and derive further activities based on these results
Last but not least, you will work closely with an international team and external partners from industry and academia

Profile:

Completed studies (M.Sc. or similar, PhD advantageous) in physics, chemistry or chemical engineering with focus on electrochemistry
Profound knowledge in the field of electrochemistry, e.g. water electrolysis, fuel cells, (redox flow) batteries, galvanic and corrosion or similar
Desired, several years of experience in project work, especially in a research and development environment
Deep knowledge of electrochemical methods, especially impedance spectroscopy
Willingness to travel occasionally on business trips
Strong analytical skills
A bility to approach tasks in a systematic and proactive manner
Enthusiasm to initiate, lead and execute R&D projects
Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of an international team in a fastpaced environment
High motivation to continuously develop your personal and professional skills
