We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Commercial Energy to join us here at LFC.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an exciting premium automotive brand during a period of growth and the advancement of electric Vehicle design.


  • This role is to support the develop of Lotus Tech's Electric Vehicle Charging solutions by expanding our overseas operations and the advancement of engineering such technology. As well as seeking out and developing strong partnerships in the EV tech space and the sale of products to business customers. This role requires someone with commercial background with exceptional stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for leading on a variety of projects from the tender process to contract award and through the project life cycle until completion.

In addition, you be responsibilities include:


Leading on all commercial activities for the business including executing the core business plan and delivering on their sales targets.

Determine pricing strategies and ensure they are up to date with alternative and competitive products and pricing
Oversee tender assessments including producing detailed reviews of potential new contracts
Monitor and control risk within our contract agreements, monitor and control change to achieve successful financial completion of projects whilst protecting the exposure of the Company to financial risks
implementing innovative financial quotation models and planning tools to support the uptake of Lotus EV products
Oversee contractual terms and guidance
Personally lead engagement of strategic partners and customers, building lasting relationships in target markets that maximise the revenue opportunity for Lotus
Produce regular commercial reports and cash forecasts
Monitor compliance to corporate and legal guidelines
Act as a key point of commercial contact with clients

Requirements:

  • A demonstrable track record of successfully commercialising hardware-based products in the B2B sector
High degree of knowledge and understanding of energy, sustainability and the Electric Vehicle market
Previous experience with Electric Vehicle manufacturing
Experience in negotiating and closing large, complex contracts
Experience of working with commercial purchasing agreements
Track record of leading and delivering large commercial projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
