    Field Service Engineer - Semiconductor Manufacturing

    Aqua-Tech is working with a leading Semiconductors business that is a leading provider of advanced semiconductor solutions, driving innovation in the technology industry.

    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Field Service Engineer to join our world-class team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites across the region. You will work closely with our customers to ensure their systems are operating at optimal levels, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues.

    Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

    • Install, configure, and commission semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer facilities.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on semiconductor production systems.
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and process-related issues to minimize system downtime.
    • Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customer support.
    • Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate equipment records.
    • Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.
    • Travel extensively to customer sites as required (approximately 60-80% of the time).

    Skills of the Field Service Engineer:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment service and support.
    • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to travel extensively to customer locations.
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
