Your role

Role and Responsibilities

  • Solution architecture using Big Data/Cloud technologies
  • Extending the technical support to the bigger team on the complex solution aspects.
  • Data preparation of Big Data Platform data in Scala / Spark and / or Pyspark
  • Integration of data into EXASOL
  • Documentation of work, results, points of contact, and dependencies in Confluence, Shared Drive and Bitbucket
  • Supporting RFPs and proposals driving the solution
  • Strong business consulting exposure
  • Client stakeholder communication
Required

  • Proficiency with Big Data technologies
  • Experience with data processing, warehousing technologies
  • Spark-Scala
  • Strong programming experience with Python.
  • Experience with SQL and data modelling
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms
  • AWS
  • Experience with Exasol
  • Experience with Jenkins pipeline and CI&CD automation
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes
Preferred

  • Knowledge about agile software processes and working experience in agile projects.
  • Experience with Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Pentaho DI
