Beschreibung
Heidelberg Materials is on a mission to become the first industrial tech company in the building materials sector.

Our aim is to digitalize our entire value chain to drive efficiency and provide a benchmark experience for our customers and partners.

As part of this journey, we also started to change the way of working within IT teams towards Agile.

Five years of strong team growth later, we today still operate in a mix of both worlds and team setups.

While our cross-functional software development teams work mainly in scrum, other departments and country stakeholders adhere to more classical project management methods.

But also, within scrum teams different setup of roles and organizational structures have developed independent of teams quite often sharing similar technologies and dependencies.

Smaller product teams are mainly guided by Product Owners, while larger products developed by multiple scrum teams have Engineering (Team) Managers driving the efficient delivery of the value identified by Product Managers.

At the beginning of the year, the entire IT organization, additionally, began embracing objectives and key results (OKRs) as a goal-setting method while the overall Heidelberg Materials organization remains traditionally very KPI and Management by Objectives (MbO) target-driven.

If you are comfortable working on initiatives influencing a cultural change cross-teams, but at the same time you see the value of staying connected to individual teams and helping with their discovering and team dynamic improvements, you might be the exact person our small team of Agile Coaches is searching to welcome.
