Responsibilities:
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.

Specific Duties
- and nano-scale magnetic ground states. Samples will be prepared in-situ inside an ultra-high vacuum chamber and will be characterized by SP-STM at low temperatures and in applied magnetic fields. Special attention will be given to the role of higher-order interactions for the formation of complex spin textures.


Requirements:

A university degree in a relevant field.

Master's degree in Physics or a related field. Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Several of the following competences:
Expertise in Condensed Matter Physics, Surface Science, Magnetism. Experience with scanning tunneling microscopy, surface science techniques, thin film growth, ultra-high vacuum, cryo-techniques. Self-motivation and willingness to perform independent research. Ability to work in an international team.
