Intro Paragraph:

This is a chance to play a pivotal role in the continued expansion of one of our largest markets.

It is a role with a high degree of autonomy and the chance to build a new structure whilst working with an existing, highly capable international team of industry professionals.

The Commercial Director will be key to our strategy and decision-making in the German market, and will utilise creative solutions to ensure continued growth.

Your Job:

Overseeing resourcing and staffing and managing overheads. Building a small team dedicated to the German market.
Overseeing staff development and daytoday team management.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable commercial/development role for a renewables developer or investor.
Strong solar project development experience.
Experience leading sizeable teams of development professionals.
Technical understanding of solar photovoltaics and familiar with the process of procurement, construction and logistics of investment projects.
Experience undertaking solar farm development activities permitting, landowner negotiations, stakeholder engagement, site design, energy yield, budgeting and scheduling and grid connection.
Experience undertaking due diligence for financing.
Experience leading SPA and contract negotiations.
Uptodate knowledge of relevant legislative changes which impact ib vogt's investments in Germany.

Your profile:

Academic degree in engineering or business.
Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external clients and partners.
Willingness to travel.
