Responsibilities:

Technical product designers design and re-design components, assemblies or products Customer request.

In doing so, they may already be taking action and optimize existing models and solutions these and adapt them to new requirements.

For the creation of 3-D data models, they use before especially CAD systems. They prepare their constructions for different purposes, e.g. through sectional images and Detail elaborations.

You choose materials, standard parts as well as manufacturing and assembly techniques from and consider cost aspects as well as technical and design requirements.

They also create the Technical Documentation. They also know them Properties of the materials and auxiliary materials used and choose semi-finished products
