Our Finance Transformation team is focusing on the development and the evolution of the finance systems (both ERP and Reporting Solutions) for the benefits of the full finance community of Airbus Defense and Space.

As
Head of Financial Systems (d/f/m) Airbus Defence and Space , you will be a vital part in the Finance community and the project organization.

As a challenging Business Partner, you will contribute substantially to
- ensuring the quality and the constant improvement of the Financial processes and their implementation into the Financial systems.
- securing the relevant input of the Finance stakeholders and provide the Finance community with efficient and reliable solutions.

You will manage a team of six people mostly located in the Munich and Toulouse area.

You will be in charge of the following activities:

Manage and lead the team
Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial data from the various reporting solutions: consolidation tool, reporting solutionswith a specific focus on the central Finance reporting system which is a key pillar of our finance data (supported by a S4/HANA Central Finance posting record replication).
Be the focal point of the finance community to collect their needs and requirements, manage demand and priorities. Translate those needs in specifications to our IT department in charge of development in the system.
Manage and lead specific projects in the domain controlling, accounting and tax: collecting requirements, analyzing options, proposing a solution in the system to be discussed with our IT organization in charge of implementation
Be responsible for data consistency through a welldefined master data policy and propagate the divisional Finance master data with the central MDG system into the SAP systems of the division.
In charge of the key user support for the divisional management reporting BI system based on the financial statements of the belonging entities and for the Finance processes in the international SAP system for Space business.
Anticipate the evolution of system architecture in the frame of ERP landscape evolution
Be the focal point for German entities for the ERP evolution: defining adaptation of business processes to system definition
Point of contact for support of migrations projects for entities moving into the new systems in connection with Accounting,

Project Controlling:
definition of migration strategy, monitoring of the project, being part of the change management.

Desired skills and qualifications

You are educated to a degree level in Finance, Economics or equivalent
You have extensive experience in Finance systems including experience on system change in large companies ideally with the definition of a migration strategy.
You already have an experience in leadership through management or project management experiences and have gained experience in driving transformation projects with change management a
