Responsibilities:


LOCATION:
Cologne, DE


ONSITE:
This role requires the student to work from the LOCATION office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite.


PROGRAM TERM:


  • Summer: Start Date May 22, 2023, or June 5th
  • August 11, 2023

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:


  • You will contribute, develop and enhance our ML compiler by building custom optimizations and transformations targeted to ACAP on top of opensource technology like LLVM, TVM, MLIR.
  • You will work on hardware performance modeling tools that predict the performance with various level of accuracy and abstraction to be used as part of the compiler optimizations/explorations.
  • You will formulate, code and test optimization algorithms and constraints.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


  • You're studying towards a Master or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • You have strong programming skills (preferably C++ and Python)
  • You have been exposed to AI accelerator architectures
  • You have gained first experience with either using AI accelerators or compiling to an accelerator/ASIC
  • You are familiar with deep learning frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, Pytorch) and software stack (e.g. TVM)
  • You have strong communication and problemsolving skills, have a handson mentality and are able to work in a team
  • You are an EU citizen or possess a valid work permit. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
