Tasks

The Managing Partner will be responsible for establishing and growing a new venture capital fund from the ground up.

This will involve building a high-performing investment team, raising capital from limited partners (LPs), and establishing a strong network of relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.

The focus of the fund will be on identifying and investing in innovative and disruptive technologies in yet (to be defined) industries.

As Managing Partner, you will lead the overall strategy and direction of the fund and work closely with the investment team to source, evaluate, and execute investments, as well as with portfolio companies to support their growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a highperforming investment team
• Raise capital for the fund from limited partners (LPs)
• Establish and maintain a strong network of relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts
• Lead the overall strategy and direction of the venture capital fund
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in innovative and disruptive technologies
• Lead the due diligence process and negotiate investment terms
• Work with portfolio companies to support their growth and success
• Manage the financial performance of the fund

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in venture capital, with a proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, executing successful investments
• Strong portfolio management experience, including experience serving on boards and overseeing successful exits
• Lage network of relationships in the venture capital and technology industries
• Network of potential LP investors
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and lead a highperforming team
• Prior experience living and doing business in Japan a plus
