YOUR TASKS
The two positions are part of a joint industry project with four partners. All research positions aim at simulationbased optimization of industrial flows using the adjoint method.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Excellent Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably Theoretical Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture, Industrial/Applied Mathematics or Scientific Computing.
  • Position 1:
Clear focus on computational fluid dynamics using finite-volume methods and fluid dynamic optimization approaches. Experience in industrial CFD is an asset.


Position 2:

Clear focus on computational fluid dynamics using finite-volume methods and data-based models. Experience in industrial CFD is an asset.

  • Background and knowledge of High-Performance Computing methods in CSE; sound background in physics of fluids; proven background in different programming paradigms.
  • Excellent communication as well as proven language capabilities and team working skills. Applicants must be able to communicate fluently in English, in oral and written form.
  • Experience in the use of HPCsystems, coding competencies in FORTRAN, PYTHON, C or C++.
