as Image Quality Specialist (f/m/d) for interventional angiography systems to optimize imaging and significantly contribute to the satisfaction of our customers and the therapeutic success of the patients.

Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • You support our customers in image quality (IQ) relevant challenges and questions
  • You accompany clinical trials and monitoring phases and ensure the optimization of the image chain (including simulation)
  • You represent customer requirements during the (pre)development of new image processing algorithms and new imaging concepts
  • You test the image chain configuration of new products and participate in the release process
  • You coach and train internal colleagues on IQ issues and conduct internal BQ trainings
  • You work in an agile, crossfunctional and international development team and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders from research & development, product management, innovation and user experience
  • You evaluate imaging technologies as well as customer processes and incorporate lessons learned and customer feedback for the next development cycle

Your qualifications and experience:


  • We also welcome applicants with a completed master's/diploma degree in a physical / technical field (physics, electrical engineering, computer science, medical technology or similar) with several years of professional experience. A PhD in this field would be advantageous.
  • You have experience in advising physicians on angiographic procedures, ideally in interventional radiology and cardiology.
  • You have very good knowledge in medical imaging technology, Xray physics and 2D image processing
  • You understand the challenges of an interventional environment and ideally have medical expertise
  • Experience in agile development and knowledge of our competitors' products is an advantage

Your attributes and skills:


  • You have intercultural experience and are business fluent in English in order to be able to operate successfully in our international environment, good German language skills are an advantage
  • National and international business trips are a welcome change for you
  • You have excellent communication skills in order to be able to act professionally and goaloriented with physicians and team colleagues
  • You convince with your analytical ability and manage to work out concrete solutions from fuzzy problem descriptions
  • You are characterized by a structured and goaloriented way of working with a high degree of initiative and assertiveness as well as a strong customer orientation
  • It is easy for you to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools in the field of image processing, as well as with the challenges of a clinical environment
