A vacancy for a
Working Student (M/F/d) - Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) - Air Traffic Control (ATC) in the Urban Air Mobility team has arisen in Munich.

The position will be offered within the new Airbus Urban Mobility GmbH conditions and salary policy.

Your Role
You will be part of the UTM-Team (Unmanned Traffic Management) within the start-up like entity Airbus Urban Mobility GmbH.

AUM GmbH has been set up as the central entrepreneur of the UAM organization within the Group and acts as the program for the eVTOL development as well as the system integrator for UAM.

In that context, it covers the pillars vehicle, take-off & landing infrastructure and UTMto prepare the integration in cities and future commercial passenger operations.

As Part of the UTM-Team you will be working in the ongoing AMIUS-Project (Air Mobility Initiative U-Space), a R&T-Project with the goal of demonstrating future solutions for simulation and communication within the unmanned airspace.

In your role you will be in charge of the following main activities:

Pre-processing, simulation and post-processing of aerial traffic after familiarization with our existing simulation toolchain
Analysis of the simulated data and derivation of improvements / extensions of the existing simulation models
Support the development and deployment of air traffic recording devices

- **Support the development of future communication technologies

Your Qualifications and Skills

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

Enrolled as a full-time student
Bachelor's or Master's programs in Information Technology, Engineering or any related field
Experience in Python / Golang
Experience in Git
Familiarity with Linux-Environments
Familiarity with SCRUM framework (or willing to learn)
Ability to work collaboratively with others and a handson mentality
Interest to work in an international and multicultural environment
Intellectual curiosity coupled with drive to overcome challenges
Fluency in English, German is a plus
