Responsibilities:

• Provide inhouse legal advice on data protection and privacy laws, datasharing, and the implications of new products and services.
• Draft, negotiate and review of any commercial agreement containing data protection and or privacy implications.
• Advise on legal and regulatory restrictions in respect of personal data location, cross border data transfers and personal data access restrictions/requirements globally.
• Review and advise on arrangements with affiliates and third party service providers who process personal data globally to ensure compliance with data protection and/or privacy requirements.
• Review and advise on data incidents, escalation, remediation and notification obligations to regulators and third parties to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
• Manage our information security activities from planning to implementation and review
• Handle ISOaudits and recertifications as part of the ISO team

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years + experience in an inhouse and/or law firm environment.
• Experience with DPIAs, TIAs, DPAs, standardizing policies, protocols, and training programs, including the associated documents such as vendor and client contracts. This includes providing guidance across various stakeholders.
• CIPP/E is an advantage
• Experienced in information security and ISO & audits
• Highly motivated person with a positive attitude, with experience of working independently and cross functionally.
• University degree in law; bar exam or LLM is an advantage.
• Native German and fluency in English is a MUST
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to travel to the headquarters in Zurich when needed
