As the Commercial Director for South Germany at Sanoptis, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing the commercial operations of multiple eye clinics within South Germany.

Your responsibilities will encompass strategic oversight, performance management, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Reports and Organization Structure
Direct reporting line to the Head of Germany. Close collaboration with clinic's head physicians and the regional manager.


Location
This role is based in Munich or Augsburg with occasional travel to clinics and practices across Bavaria


Your mission:


Priorities will include:

  • Lead the commercial operations of multiple eye clinics within the assigned region, ensuring strict adherence to Sanoptis' policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, patient satisfaction levels, and financial indicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Operations Managers overseeing individual clinics. Define performance objectives, offer support, conduct performance evaluations, and cultivate a positive work environment that promotes effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Country and local medical professionals to formulate regional strategic plans in alignment with Sanoptis' overarching goals. Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives for individual clinics, consistently assessing progress and making necessary adaptations.
  • Identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities within the region, including the establishment of local addon practices.
  • Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies to amplify patient volume and expand market share, working in close coordination with the marketing team.
  • Monitor the financial performance of clinics, encompassing revenue, expenses, and profitability. Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and costcontrol measures.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with local medical practitioners, facilitating their career progression and identifying opportunities for professional success.
  • Provide regular comprehensive reports and updates to the Head of Country, offering insights into clinic performance, notable achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations.

Your profile:


  • Substantial relevant work experience, ideally in leadership roles such as Clinic Manager, Head of Operations, Head of Sales, or comparable positions
