For our company headquarters in Neuwied - near Koblenz - we are looking for a
Head of Purchasing (M/F/d).

Your Tasks:


  • Leading purchasing teams at multiple locations
  • Supporting / Driving of savings in purchasing and standardization projects
  • Monitoring the key figures and implementing measures to achieve the goals
  • Continuous development of the procurement strategy in coordination with the business area organizational units
  • Negotiating and concluding contracts with suppliers
  • Optimizing purchasing and logistics processes
  • Supporting engineering in the procurement of complex units and machines
  • Coordination with corporate functions and sister companies on joint projects and purchasing savings

Your Qualifications:


  • Successfully completed commercial or technical studies
  • Several years of experience in leading a purchasing team
  • Good technical understanding
  • Excellent knowledge of contract drafting
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
  • Confident handling of common MS Office programs and SAP
  • Willingness to travel
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking and acting
  • Goaloriented, negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High commitment, reliability, independence and flexibility
