- or part-time.
As EEG technician / lab assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation, execution, and documentation of high-quality EEG data collection
- Participant preparation, information, and assistance
- Evaluation and execution of EEG data collection protocols
- Adherence to quality standards for acquisition and storage of EEG signals
- Adherence to privacy standards for handling personal information
- Execution of different participant acquisition methods
- Scheduling time slots and related communication
- Maintaining an organised and welcoming lab environment
- Stocktaking and ensuring lab inventory
- Training and/or coordinating others to assist data acquisition
- Proven experience with EEG data acquisition
- Formal qualifications as EEG technician are NOT required
- Experience with various types of modern biosignal amplifiers and electrode systems
- Experience with various types of electrode digitization tools is a plus
- Understanding of privacy regulations
- Understanding of basic principles of EEG
- Familiarity with EEG visual inspection
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German/Dutch (depending on location)
- Excellent organizational skills
