Tasks
- Review projects' ability to deliver robust and scalable solutions toward our vision, learning and incorporating new technologies
- Drive agile project management methodologies to provide technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ensure highquality design reviews which meet business and architectural goals and drive critical feedback
- Build, manage, and develop a worldclass engineering team including hiring and mentoring engineers and product managers
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent degree with strong information technology focus
- 7+ years of experience writing code in modern objectoriented programming languages such as Python/Java/C#
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations
- Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor software engineers in all aspects of their engineering skillset
- Experience in IIoT / Industrial Software / MES / Industrial Control (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, CodeSys) implementations
- Experience in programming with C++/C/Go/Rust
- Experience with realtime operating systems and virtualization
