About the programme:

You always wondered what it's like to work as a software developer for an international company? You want to join a team were collaboration and mutual support are being valued? Your work style reflects your high interest in operating with current technologies and tools? Then we are looking for you at Factorial: a problem solver with a passion for software development.

Join Factorial in the role of a software development intern (f/m/x) Help us providing technical solutions with different softwares, programming languages and technologies.

You can help optimizing the company's workflows and support our development team.

Roadmap:

The internship follows a six month programme.

This is what you can expect from it:

First month:

Week one:

You'll get to know the Factorial team and our main customers.
You'll get a comprehensive onboarding and get to know the units and your person of contact.
You'll have your home office set up, your work equipment ready to go and all your needed credentials provided.

Week two:

You'll have one mentor assigned to you.
You'll formulate goals that you want to achieve during your internship.
You'll get to know the basics of our development stacks in backend and frontend.

Week three and four:

You'll be doing small tasks in different projects and units.
You'll understand our workflows and be integrated into a team.
You'll attend all relevant dailies, weeklies and other project related meetings.

After one month:

We'll discuss with you if we want to extend the internship period.
If yes, you'll find your vocation: frontend, backend or devOps.

After six months:

We'll discuss with you if we want to continue to work together.
If yes, you'll have an offer as a Junior developer at Factorial.

Must-haves:

These are the must-haves that we require from you to join the programme:

You're eager to learn and interested in becoming part of an international team.
You are able to communicate well in English (written and spoken).
You are a student enrolled at the University of Extremadura.

Your profile:

You want a career where you're working remotely for international companies.
Ideally, you have worked in a distributed team before.
You are organised, openminded and communicate well.
You master dealing with different team members empathically and collegially.
