Molecular analysis of individual tumor tissue is necessary to develop tomorrow's personalized cancer medicines.

Our team is supporting the international biopharmaceutical industry since 2005 with high-quality biomarker analysis in clinical trials and helped to bring many innovative therapies to the patient.

Tasks

Plans, directs, and coordinates the Financial Accounting functions (including US and Europe)
Plans, supervises, and assists the team in performing daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes to properly record, classify and control financial transactions
Reviews, audits, and prepares journal entries
Manage expense reporting system and train employees on its use
Manage local banking (including multicurrency transactions) and accounting firm relationships
Review, account assignment and posting of all ongoing business transactions
Processing of payment transactions and payment runs
Reconciliation of OP accounts and account clarification
Implementation of the dunning process
Asset accounting
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Participation in and management of projects in accounting, leading involvement in the design and optimization of accounting processes

Requirements:

You have completed a degree (bachelor's or ideally master's) in the field of finance, international accounting, or a comparable course.
You already have at least five years of professional experience.
Ideally, you have knowledge of DATEV (Kanzlei Accounting).
Your English is very solid, both written and spoken.
You have very good user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
We can rely on your independent and conscientious way of working.
You have already gained experience in companies with an international focus.
Experience with US GAAP would be an advantage.
Experience with annual audits and supporting controls and documentation
Familiarity with principles of the German Commercial Code (HGB)
