The position:

The successful applicant is expected to:

Upkeep and operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation
Upkeep laboratory inventory, consumables and supplies
Maintain the cleanliness of the work area
Assist in supporting users of the European XFEL users' labs
Assist in the implementation of safety measures and documentation
Work in an international and interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

Training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or equivalent education
Experience in operation and maintenance of standard laboratory equipment
Ability to work cleanly and neatly, maintain records of work done
English is the working language
