Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
As an integral part of our Research organization, you will be responsible for designing, establishing, and implementing state-of-the-art computational biology methods to identify, characterize and validate targets, cell types and signaling pathways that mediate tumor immunosuppression.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead the design, development and implementation of computational analysis pipelines to guide our target discovery and drug development projects
- Process and interpret public and inhouse multiomics datasets (e.g., NGS, transcriptomics, proteomics) from _in vitro/in viv_o_ experimental settings as well as from patient tumor samples to support identification and validation of immuneoncology relevant targets and pathways
- Aid target identification and drug characterization using machine learning and other relevant stateoftheart computational biology methods
- Establish and sustain an internal knowledge database
- Develop robust data packages and communicate it effectively to internal crossfunctional teams and to external stakeholders to enable project milestone decisions
What we are looking for:
- You are a passionate scientist with a PhD in bioinformatics, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent, with at least 3 years of work experience as a bioinformatician/computational biologist in oncology or immunology field
- You possess a working knowledge in analyzing multiomics and biomarker data (e.g., NGS data including bulk and single cell RNAseq, exomeseq, ChIPseq) as evidenced by publication track record in reputed journals
- You have extensive handson experience in programming in Python or R / Bioconductor
- You are experienced in data visualization (e.g., ggplot2, shiny, etc.), Shellscripting and statistical methodologies
- You have a good overview of stateoftheart bioinformatics databases, algorithms and tools
- You are a highly motivated, flexible, and creative individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is effective at working in a diverse, fastpaced and collaborative team
