We are looking for a


Field Application Support Specialist (M/F/d):


This position is part of the EMEA Support Organization (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and will be located in Darmstadt (Germany).


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare and deliver products demonstrations to showcase groundbreaking cIEF-MS (capillary isoelectric focusing-MS) product and workflows in biopharma
  • Support the commercial and marketing team as technical expert on novel cIEFMS technology
  • Provide inhouse and onsite trainings, troubleshooting, customer visits and telephone support in a timely and professional manner to achieve highlevel customer satisfaction
  • Partner with customers to develop technical notes, publications and presentations
  • Liaise with local and global networks to solve customer problems quickly and efficiently
  • Participate in global scientific community through conferences, seminars and training programs

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor degree or higher degree in chemistry or biology
  • Experience in biopharma characterization workflows covering sample preparation, analytical method development and data processing
  • Excellent presentation, communication and customer facing skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
  • Driver's license and willingness to EMEA wide travel (up to 20%)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • LC-MS/CE-MS or CE at a biopharmaceutical/biotech company
