Arinto is a climate tech start-up founded in early 2023 on a mission to massively reduce the CO2 output of global merchant shipping.

If global shipping was a country it would be the 6th biggest GHG emitter (more than Germany). We need to rapidly reduce these emissions to meet green decarbonization targets.

With our solution we are tackling the "sail fast then wait" modus operandi that's causing an avoidable 100 million tons of CO2 emmissions every year.

A purely operational problem that can be solved with a combination of tech and trusted data - today.


Your mission:

Following a successful first half year, and with a significant level of interest from the industry, along with new investment, we are seeking to expand our business development team.

If you are a natural at identifying business opportunities as well as target customers and love generating new revenue streams and strategies, this is your chance to be part of something massive, that will help a fascinating, centuries-old industry transition to carbon neutrality.

As our Business Development Lead you are responsible for identifying, nurturing and closing new business opportunities and managing the whole sales cycle.

You'll help define and execute the go-to-market strategy and establish the sales process in close collaboration with the Founders.


Your profile:

• You have the proven ability to establish longterm customer relations in the maritime industry
• You have the ability to put yourself into the customer perspective and listen carefully to identify the pain points that our solution is solving for them
• You are a natural networker and feel confident making new connections offline and online
• You have experience in SaaS / digital solution sales
• You are a selfstarter and thrive in a fastpaced environment
• You are highly motivated and able to overcome hurdles by outofthebox thinking and endurance
