Multiple Desktop Support Specialists Required:


The position of Desktop Support Specialist performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of end user computing equipment and peripheral equipment at corporate locations.


Essential duties for the position include:

  • Basic knowledge in ITIL (or ITIL Foundation)
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, and MS Office 36
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot PC hardware, and use enterprise antivirus solutions
  • Handson experience in Helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Mobile device management including IOS and Android devices, and enterprise encryption solutions
  • Windows PC/laptop management via MDM Tool
  • Awareness on asset refresh and asset disposal activities
  • Hands-On Experience on client Asset Life Cycle Management
  • Hardware breakfix of enduser devices
  • Enterprise mobile device troubleshooting


  • Conference room support

  • Audio/video conferencing room support
  • Smart hands support
  • Incident recording and updating
  • Liaison with different track within teams, and third party / OEM vendor coordination
  • Working technical knowledge, in order to address Service Work Orders, for PCs, laptops, cabling, televisions, projectors, phones, peripherals (e.g. keyboards or mice) and Mobile Scanners
  • Awareness and handson experience on laboratory related products and services (E;g
  • Malver Mastersizer 2000/3000/Zetasizer, Thermo Fisher, Agilent Openlab Metrom Tiamo, Perkin Elmer Syngistix for AA, Leco Instruments)
  • Working knowledge on GxP Computer System Validation, IATF QM, CMD, Powershell & Windows Installer Error Messages

Qualifications:


  • Either CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better
  • Minimum of 12‐18 months of IT experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing IT issues
  • Demonstrate good customer service skills
  • Should have good analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time to complete tasks
  • Advanced handson experience troubleshooting
  • Possess strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
