Commercial Director, Benlysta - Germany:

This is an exciting opportunity to join GSK as a
Commercial Director responsible for Benlysta focused on German Market.

This role involves a cross functional leadership and directly lead a winning commercial team within the cross-functional ecosystem.

It allows you to drive GSK impact on patients lives suffering from Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and Lupus nephritis (LN) and in the future also new indications.


Your responsibilities:


  • Meet the high need for crossfunctional influence and collaboration internally across divisions to deliver results
  • Create a strong leadership culture and ensure high level of collaboration within the Benlysta cross functional team
  • Attract, recruit and retain highcaliber team.
  • Lead, coach and develop the sales and marketing teams to create a strong, positive, and successoriented culture
  • Direct and drive the commercial strategies and deliver optimal sales and growth for Benlysta within its current indications: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and Lupus Nephritis (LN) as well as prepare for launches of new indications in the future
  • Achieve and drive to exceed the business unit targets and goals
  • Ensure appropriate allocation & utilization of budget/resources to ensure budget efficiency, in line with company policy.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence and Medical to define effective channel mix for products

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Extensive years of experience in sales and marketing including leadership of field force within specialty pharma
  • Experience with turnaround challenges and performance delivery
  • Brand Management experience including product launch

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA
  • Leadership capabilities to influence a group through managing change
  • Demonstrated record in achieving results through others and developing team capabilities
  • Experience within Rheumatology and/or Nephorology space would be beneficial
  • Effective communication and presentations skills
  • Strong team player
