A Snapshot of Your Day


The Head of Transformer Service Germany is responsible for the business strategy, sales and overall project implementation and is accountable for the strategic, general, and operational management to ensures the expected service business growth in the future.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead the Transformer Service Operations in our Factories Nuremberg and Dresden (inclusive of Engineering, Field Service and Service Facilities), Project Management and Sales, with full responsibility to ensure that business objectives are achieved. You will be an active member of the European Transformer Service Leadership Team.
  • Full responsibility for your allocated worldwide Transformer Service Business you are meeting and over
- achieving key financial targets, as well as having a clear understanding of the business financials in the context of the market opportunities

  • Lead by example in all aspects, promote our values and behaviors and implement strategic programs. You will support the transformation and drive new topics.
  • Deliver customer excellence and drive collaborative, trusting and strategic relationships with internal and external customers
  • Build safety culture that always seeks to achieve Zero Harm and wellbeing
  • Lead and develop the workforce ensuring a highperformance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement, with motivated employees. Furthermore you will empower your local teams and grow local talents.
  • Collaborating with different stakeholders, such as our incompany transformer factories, other Siemens Energy entities, customers, business partners, and thirdparty subcontractors is key in your daily business

What You Bring

  • University degree or equivalent education in business management and or in engineering
  • Proven experience with energy customers, preferably with P&L responsibility
  • 510 years of experience in working with and leading multicultural local and remote teams preferable in a factory environment
  • Demonstrable evidence of direct sales and after sales activities, successful project or service business execution
  • Excellent English language skills, German language skills (B2 or higher) are a minimum requirement for this position
  • Basic knowledge in transformer technology is welcome
  • Your profile is complimented by strong and effective interpersonal skills, as well as effective communication skills
