The team you'll be part of
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.

Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.


You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical modification on prototypes designed by HW LABs and delivered to other disciplines/ sites.

For that you will be integrated in a multi skilled team of electrical, optical and software engineers and technicians developing miniaturised optical Transmitter Modules.


What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about solving problems?

As part of our team, you will:

  • Support HW LAB activities, including Hardware upgrades, system configuration, tools and instruments maintenance and logistic
  • Execute of electrical and mechanical modification on prototypes designed by HW LABs and delivered to other disciplines/sites
  • Execute of specific electrical, optical and functional tests under the guidance of the Hardware designer
  • Execute of specific electrical and functional optical tests on verification robot
  • Perform asset management in prototype and equipment tracking database

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Good skill for handicraft works on complex electronic and optical boards
  • Expertise in digital and analog electrical design techniques

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Basic knowledge in Product Data Management (PDM, ALMR),
  • Quality and Change Management Processes Ability to work independently, selforganized and with high level of accountability
  • High personal flexibility to provide high quality results in challenging environment.
  • Interest in collaboration with international partners. Good communication skills
  • Fluent German and basic English language skills
