Research Associate / PostDoc (M/F/d) in the field of metabolomics/ proteomics using mass spectrometry and cell culture

a committed and qualified research assistant/postdoc (M/F/d) to start as soon as possible.


Your tasks:


  • Performing and evaluating metabolome and proteome analyses using mass spectrometry
  • Development of cellbased assays with primary skin cells and stem cells
  • Isolation and analysis of extracellular vesicles
  • Project coordination and cooperation with Beiersdorf AG
  • Guidance and collaboration with project team members, consisting of two PostDocs and one laboratory engineer
  • Scientific processing and publication of the results in journals and presentation at conferences
  • Guidance and supervision of student assistants and students

Your profile:


  • Completed PhD in biochemistry, chemistry or biology or comparable field of study
  • Extensive experience in instrumental analysis, in particular mass spectrometry for metabolome and/or proteome analysis
  • Experience in cell culture and assay development is an advantage
  • High level of commitment, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for experimental work and the analysis of omics data
  • Fluent English is required; German language is not required, but is an advantage

The employment contract concluded with the Free State of Bavaria is a full-time position with 40.05 hours per week and is limited until Depending on personal requirements, the position will be classified in pay group 13 of the TV-L.
