Your role

As the Head of Digital Workplace within Zeiss Corporate IT you are in charge of the successful implementation and operation of standard workplace services.

Based on the defined IT architecture, a global solution design and enterprise-wide SLAs you and your team are partnering with regional and global IT functions and our global service partners for a continuous improve-ment of our workplace services.

That include optimization, standardization and innovation of those services in scope. A major focus here is to transform the organization towards "business enablement" that incorporates agile and smart solu-tions that help our business segments focus on "customer success"- Building and leading a team that manages and supports the end user workplace for Zeiss on a global scale- Set strategic direction for the services and products in scope for all Zeiss segments- Align workplace strategy with the IT Executive Leadership Team, local CIO's and business stake-holders- Manage external partners and providers that act as an extended workbench for Zeiss- Implement and lead a 24/7 operating model for platforms such as Intune, SCCM and Citrix- Management and standardization of workstations and mobile devices- Ensure that environments comply with security standards- Actively drive standardization across existing platforms and services- Manage external vendors and stakeholders- Drive strategical and technical alignment with other IT functions and Business Units

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in relevant IT functions
2+ years of managing teams that support large, shared platforms
Proven record of managing end user workplace environments for multinational enterprises
Experience in managing service providers and external vendors Knowledge of agile principles and ITIL
A high degree of independence, assertiveness and responsibility Openness towards innovation and new technologies
