About the Role

As Accounting Assistant you will handle the General Ledger accounting and reporting.

You will be responsible for performing day-to-day financial transactions, ensure error free entries in the book of accounts and the accurate and timely entry of GL transactions in the Finance Accounting System (AX).

You adjust entries according to management instructions, support month-end closing and other finance related tasks and reports.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all daily financial transactions and documentation for General Ledger.
  • Responsible for appropriate accruals and accounting of all expenses at the month end.
  • Monthly accounts reconciliations on balance sheet.
  • Rectification of Intercompany imbalances.
  • Monthly or quarterly reporting to Group i.e. trackers, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations, operating lease, tax payments & refunds.
  • Support preparation of Financials for statutory and other audits & assist auditors.
  • Assist in monthly tax liability on salary, rent, professional expenses, contractor payments, issuance of TDS certificates.
  • Assist in quarterly, monthly and annual return on all tax deducted and deposited within time limit to avoid penalty imposed by tax authority.
  • Responsible for all SDAR compliance and documentation on monthly basis and as per requirement.
  • Recharge calculation and coordination with Cost plus entities for monthly recharge.
  • Assist in quarterly forecast and yearly budget.

To Succeed in the Role, You Should Have:

  • Degree or equivalent training or experience in accounting.
  • Indepth Knowledge of local/ international accounting standards.
  • Experience in working with an international environment preferable.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel).
  • Good German and English language skills.
  • Experience working with AX System and HFM preferable.

Salary:
Up to 45,500.00€ per year
