TRAINEE FINANCE INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL PLANNING & BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND INTERNAL CONTROL SYSTEM & GOVERNANCE (M/F/X)

The department Financial Planning & Business Analysis and the department Internal Control System & Governance are part of the Corporate Accounting & Controlling organization of DPDHL.

The Financial Planning & Business Analysis team is responsible for co-ordinating the Group-wide planning, forecasting and management reporting processes, as well as business analyses of all segments from a group point of view.

Our task is to provide financial transparency throughout the Group by regular and ad-hoc action-oriented analyses to support decision-making. The department ist also responsible for the Group-wide risk controlling process.
Customers of the department are Corporate Board, Supervisory Board and other central departments.

The Department Group Internal Control System is responsible for the development, implementation and enhancement of the group-wide internal control strategy and standards.

In addition the team supports group-wide accounting governance projects.

Together with Compliance and Risk Management, and in collaboration with the governance bodies of the Company, the Internal Control System (ICS) forms our "House of Governance".

ICS aims to secure compliance of key policies and guidelines to internal and external standards, contributing to making sure we keep our "Right to Play".

DPDHL's ICS is a key element in creating transparency about relevant financial and non-financial risks. It also enables effective controls to prevent these risks from having a material adverse effect on the Group, i.e. on its assets, reputation, and future license to operate.

Your tasks

Supporting in Planning, Reporting and Risk Controlling
Systematic evaluation, commenting and followup of ICS assessment result and of internal audits
Further development of the Groupwide ICS, Development and enhancing systembased analyses
Selfdependent adhoc and special analyses

Your profile

Graduated Bachelor or Master before October 1st, 2023, in Logistics, Finance, Mathematics, Economy, Informatics
Internships and/or first experiences preferable (up to 3 years) in large organizations, first experience in data analytics or digital reporting advantageous
Fluent German and English skills, very good MS Office skills, knowledge in Power BI or SAC; SAP of advantage
Strong communication skills in English and German language; able to work in a team of highly skilled and motivated people, working independently
