Private equity funds have long been one of the most attractive investment opportunities, outperforming public market benchmarks, like the S&P 500.

But these funds have also been difficult or impossible to access, especially for individuals. Onerous paperwork, high investment minimums (~€10m) and difficulty picking a fund have all been hurdles that kept individuals out. Access has always been dominated by institutions or a select few. Enter Moonfare.


Moonfare is revolutionising access to private equity using a fully digital platform that provides qualified investors access to selectively vetted top-performing funds within 15 minutes and at minimums as low as €50,000.

Moonfare provides investors with innovative reporting and the potential to trade their stakes in funds using our Secondary Market.

We are introducing never before seen transparency and liquidity to private equity, and with our ongoing expansion across key markets in Europe and Asia, we are enabling investors around the world to reach further.


The Moonfare team brings together individuals with a wealth of different backgrounds, from leading investment and private banks and private equity fund managers to disruptive tech startups, leading newspapers and top law firms.

Senior Director of Product (M/F/d):


As the Senior Director of Product, you will be in charge of all of Moonfare's digital products, including our B2C, B2B and B2B2C platforms.

Reporting to our CPTO, you will own our product strategy and transform it into a truly unique business model that will enable Moonfare to allow an even greater number of investors the opportunity to invest in private markets.

We are looking for a true product leader who is not only able to develop the product team but is also able to align the broader business on the product vision and co-own the commercial success of our products.


You will:


  • Define, communicate and rollout Moonfare's product vision, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy
  • Work with the wider R&D team to define & complete OKRs, such as launching our retail product, allowing Moonfare to be a first mover in giving retail investors the opportunity to invest in private equity funds
  • Foster the development of the product team by providing guidance, mentorship and creating opportunities for career and personal growth
  • Inspire and motivate the team, ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards common goals
  • Develop a product culture that values collaboration, constant learning, innovation, rapid testing and iteration

The next Moonfarian:


  • 10+ years in Product Management and 5+ years as a product leader
  • Experience in working in a scaleup environment
  • Outstanding leadership skills, with the ability to inspire crossfunctional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Great stakeholder management skills working at eye level with executive and senior leadership teams
  • Track record of successfully launching and scaling products
  • Proven ability to build and empower highperforming teams
  • Experience in being a role model in driving a customerfirst and datadriven product approach
  • Ability to foster collaboration and mutual respect between designers, engineers, and the product team
