The Group Ion Accelerators is looking for a
Technical employee/ Operator for ion accelerators (f/m/d).

Your tasks:

Independent operation and technical support of highenergy ion accelerators of the Ion Beam Center after six months onthejobtraining
Involvement in maintenance and upgrades of the facilities and experimental setups
Support and service for colleagues and guest during their experiments at the Ion Beam Center
Logging and documentation of the facility operation

Your profile:

Completed vocational training as an electrotechnician, electrician or electrical engineer, mechatronic technician, a system technician, mechanican (f/m/d) with additional electrical training (e.g. EUP)
Relevant professional experience with complex scientific machines
Independent, organized and goaloriented working
Communication and team skills
Willingness to be trained onthejob as an operator for electrostatic ion accelerators
Willingness to work in a 3shift operation mode and on weekends
Good skills in German and English
