Key Role:


Conduct deliberate and contingency cyberspace operations planning utilizing military decision making process (MDMP) and the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP).

Support plan development, validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoD, USG Interagency, and other stakeholders.

Review and provide input to strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, strategic operational analysis reports, strategic and operational policy reports, DoD directives and guidance, and other documentation supporting strategic operations research, analysis and development.

Support the integration of cyberspace operations into exercise designs and plans.

Contribute to the development of exercise scenarios, exercise operational plans, and other required documentation to support planning and execution to accomplish training objectives.

Conduct and validate research and analysis, and prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform Government leadership, and plan, attend, and execute planning workshops or conferences.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a joint operational planner at a CCMD, Joint Staff, or a Major Service HQ
  • Knowledge of Strategiclevel Joint Planning Process (JPP)
  • Ability to produce written reports, deliver oral briefings, and facilitate meetings with senior military staff
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Completion of specialized education Course in Military Joint Operation Planning through the Joint Professional Military Education Phase I (JPME I)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Strategiclevel cyberspace operations (CO) or defensive cyberspace operations (DCO) planner
  • Experience supporting the development and execution of military staff exercises
  • Master's degree
  • Completion of the Joint Cyberspace Operations Planners Course (JCOPC)
  • Completion of JPME II Course

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186, annualized USD).

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
