    In your new role you will:

    • Plan, control and execute development projects for new IGBT, diode and SiC MOSFET products across various Infineon sites from Munich to USA and Malaysia
    • Form, guide and motivate cross functional project teams and create energy and commitment by explaining and providing opportunities for your team members
    • You take on full project manager responsibilities including the overall project planning, development target alignments, resources, budget as well as professional risk management
    • Act as overall project manager including the role as project owner of subordinate projects and align cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
    • Maintain the overview and understanding of technical interdependencies in order to proactively identify the most complex problems
    • Consult and act as interface to internal and external customers (e.g. Application Engineering, R&D, Project Management, Sales and other departments)
    You are best equipped for this task if you have:
    • A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields, preferable a PhD
    • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, thereof 3 years as a project leader preferably in the area of chip development
    • Preferable a technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development and semiconductor processing
    • A proactive mindset with strong communication and moderation skills to align between various stakeholders and therefore excellent English skills, German as a plus
    • The ability to understand and structure complex project situations: manage crisis situations, consolidate and present those to senior management level

    Infineon designs, develops, manufactures, and markets a broad range of semiconductors and semiconductor-based solutions, focusing on key markets in the automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors.     The Development Center Dresden was launched in 2019 and is growing successfully. In the long term, the Development Centre will employ around 250 people. State-of-the-art research and characterization labs facilitate R&D activities for automotive applications, electromobility and AI chips of the next but one generation. The Development Center covers the complete development value chain from product and system definition to qualification.
