Legal Research Assistant / Working Student (f/m/d)
We are seeking a Legal Research Assistant / Working Student to join our innovative legal department.

In this role, you will assist with a wide range of tasks, contributing to the success of our legal operations and supporting initiatives to improve efficiency and compliance.

Are you a dedicated and ambitious law school graduate or law student in the final years who is eager to make a meaningful impact in the dynamic world of global technology? As a Legal Research Assistant at our innovative tech company, you'll face a unique challenge: to bridge the gap between the legal department and cutting-edge technology while ensuring that our organisation operates within the bounds of the law.

You'll need to balance attention to detail in every aspect of your work, from legal research to document management, and ensure we operate within legal boundaries while efficiently implementing an organisational tool into our daily operations, making sure it empowers our legal team to be more efficient, accurate, and responsive.

You will work closely with the General Counsel and other teams regularly.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Legal Team: Assist the legal department with day-to-day tasks such as drafting legal documents, reviewing contracts, and providing administrative support.

Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on a variety of topics relevant to our business, staying up-to-date on regulations and laws that impact our industry.

Document Management:Oversee the organisation, maintenance, and access control of legal documents and records, ensuring they are easily retrievable and secure. Take charge of the implementation process for our organisational legal tool.

Compliance Oversight:Work to ensure that our organisation remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations by assisting in compliance audits, creating and maintaining compliance documentation, and contributing to the development of compliance policies and procedures.


QUALIFICATIONS
-
Educational Background: Completed first state exam or Master of Law (LL.M.) or law student in the final years with a strong academic record (preferably over average and German law).

Tech Savvy: A keen interest in technology and a willingness to learn how to navigate and optimise the use of legal technology tools. Prior experience with legal software or tools is a plus.

Research Skills:Proficiency in conducting legal research and analysis, with the ability to distil complex legal concepts into clear and concise summaries.

Organisational Skills:Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various teams within the company.

Adaptability:A proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving tech environment.

Legal Knowledge: A good understanding of key legal principles, regulations, and processes.
