In order to support Procurement sector, Airbus Commercial is looking for a

Sourcing Officer (M/F/d)

We are a dynamic team located in Hamburg and Mirabel to deliver aftermarket sourcing solutions for all commercial aircraft types, incl.

A220.In this role, you will act as sourcing specialists for short term demands. You will ensure proper sourcing and commercial conditions, securing Customer Service business growth.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel or Finkenwerder.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Source and secure commercial conditions for customers orders and quotes (all product types)
Manage requests for quotation (RFQ) to fulfill (internal) customers requirements
Lead review meetings with subcontractor working on a particular Material Category to fulfill customers requests
Identify recurrent root causes and implement corrective actions when required
Closely collaborate and support in the daily operations, relevant Customer Service stakeholders (e.g. Supply officers, Product Management, Planning)
Contribute to development, optimization and implementation of new tools and processes (digitalization)
Identify cost saving potentials and realization for short term demands
Contribute to supplier rating, risk assessment and manage deviations by taking appropriate actions to protect Airbus interest
Manage operational and financial KPIs and reporting and launching actions in case of need

Desired skills and qualifications

You have a university degree in Business Administration, Industrial engineering or equivalent
You have a first working experience in Procurement, Customer Service or Supply Chain
You have an analytical mind set and expertise in the field of big data analyzing, reporting and handling
You have experience working with external stakeholders (suppliers, subcontractors ) as well as internal stakeholders (customers, engineering )
You are an enthusiastic team player, work in autonomy and have a customer oriented mindset
You show excellent communication and presentation skills combined with a problem solving way of working within a team
Experience in RPA, robotic process automation, Skywise (Palantir) or database management would be a plus
You are at a negotiation level in English;. Fluency in any other language skills would be a plus.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
