Your qualifications:
Completion of a MSc with an above-average grade

in spatial planning, geography, transport, or an
- other relevant topic.

Knowledge of empirical methods, in particular sta
- tistical methods. Application of those in relation to

transport and mobility is an advantage.

Good command of English.

High level of initiative, good communication skills,

and the willingness to be a team player.

The ability to communicate in German is an ad
- vantage.

We have an exciting opportunity for a scientific employee.

This position will be based in the department of mobility

and transport (Verkehrplanung und Verkehrswesen) within

the faculty of Spatial Planning. Ideally, the position would

be filled as soon as possible and will initially be for 3 years.

The duration oft he contract will be adapted tot he aspired

qualification target. The position is currently planned for

0.5FTE, but there may be a possibility to increase in time.

The position will be remunerated as a 13 TV-L position.

The position is intended to facilitate the successful appli
- cant's PhD. Therefore a willingness to obtain a PhD is a re
- quirement for this role.


Your tasks:
The position itself has both teaching and research compo
- nents (2 SWS Teaching). Teaching duties would include the

supervision of BSc and MSc dissertations, the organization

of exercises, and the supervision of projects within the fac
- ulty of spatial planning. The exact details of teaching re
- fications.

For the research component of this position, themes such

as sustainable transport, cycling, and spatial inequalities

(e.g. urban vs rural) in travel behavior are particularly wel
- come, but we are open to other themes that could poten
- tially fit within the goals and interests of the group.
