Data Sciences International, Inc. an affiliate of Harvard Bioscience ("DSI") is an innovative biomedical research equipment company. Recognized as global leader in wireless physiologic monitoring, DSI offers instrumentation, software and services that help advance Science. Our customers are Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies, Contract Research Organizations, Universities and other publicly funded research institutes. DSI's headquarters, manufacturing facility and R&D are based in St. Paul, MN, USA.

We are seeking an individual to be responsible for the sales of our solutions in Germany.

You will be responsible for achieving a sales goal and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Your main tasks entail visiting existing accounts, prospecting for new clients, performing need analysis and proposing adequate solutions. You may also provide basic product training and technical support.

Participation in national or European scientific conferences and other assignments contributing to the overall European sales team are also expected.

You will report to the European Sales manager based in France and will be employed by one of our European entities.


After a period of training in the USA and other European locations, you will work from a home office in Germany.

You must be fluent in German and your level of English must be sufficient to work in English with customers and colleagues.

You are able to travel up to 50% of the time.


_Qualifications and Experience_

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in biomedical engineering, biological science or related medical/scientific field experience considered. Additional Degree or training in Sales & Marketing desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a sales or marketing position in the Life Sciences business. Other experience working in the Life Science field can be a substitute.
  • Computer competency in MS Office and use of CRM program.
  • Fluent German & English written and spoken. Other languages a plus.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office environment.
