Academic staff member:

part-time (50 %)

Your tasks:

- conduct independent research in the field of historical musicology, writing a doctoral thesis
- teach a course load of one class per term (2 SWS)
- advise and supervise students, and participate in examinations
- participate in organizational and administrative tasks
- participate in the development and elaboration of proposal ideas for research projects

Your profile:

In addition to the general requirements according to public services law, applicants must meet the recruitment requirements stipulated in 57 of the

- _Hochschulgesetz_ of Rhineland-Palatinate.
- willingness to pursue academic qualifications (with preliminary considerations of a doctoral project in historical musicology)
- experience in academic work
- interest teaching and publishing activities
- interest in interdisciplinary issues and cooperations
- familiarity with academic procedures and structures
- very good command of written and spoken English
- independent and solution-oriented approach to work
- good planning and organizational skills
- excellent communication skills

This is a part-time position (50%), which is paid according to
-
EG 13 TV-L. It is to be filled by March 1, 2024, and is limited to a period of three years. An extension for the completion of the doctoral thesis is possible within the time limits of the WissZeitVG for another three years.
