What you will be doing:

With this exciting opportunity you will be in charge of:

• analytical and numerical electromagnetic design of machines and electrical aircraft propulsion units,

- understanding and converting aerospace requirements into viable, attractive and safe technical solutions for products,
- the optimization of the electromagnetic circuit in close collaboration with the thermal, mechanics and power electronics design disciplines integrating their constraints into joint workflow,
- verification planning in different design phases: design of experiments, measurement data analysis and results interpretation to verify electromagnetic components,

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• have a Msc. engineering or physics degree with specialization in electrical machines, drives and control. A doctoral degree could be an asset.

- have several years of experience in the design of electrical machines from the concept to the product phase and their system interactions,
- have profound knowledge of electromagnetism and tool skills (FEA, programming) paired with a realization mentality,
- good understanding of the interactions of electromagnetic design with thermal and mechanical design as well as inverter-machine influences and control theory,
- have proficient English language skills.
