To drive the digital content activities of Munich Re as a leading global reinsurance company we are looking for an creative, passionate and team-oriented professional to bring our corporate social and webplatforms to the next level.


This role will create and deliver convincing and easy to digest digital content to our audiences when and where they are searching for it.

We are looking for compelling story telling, superior execution of our corporate narrative on digital channels and a good understanding of corporate and business strategies.

As a Global Communications team member you will ensure that communication on our digital platforms globally reflects our brand and is consistent with our communication strategy.


Your Job

  • Develop a content strategy in support of Munich Re ́s business to strengthen our positioning and establish Munich Re as a thought leader
  • Ideate, plan, create, produce and distribute compelling corporate content for digital channels
  • Build a global schedule, based on the corporate communications strategy to provide content, messaging and stories across multiple digital channels
  • Oversee Munich Re's digital content formats and channels
  • Leverage internal expert resources to assist with content development and curation
  • Continue to build and refine our existing content calendar. Oversee daily activity across HSB's social and web platforms
  • Ensure early identification and timely response to reputational issues (community management)
  • Oversee the global corporate functionality and content strategy, prioritize, verify quality, and upload contributed content

Your Profile

  • Bachelor/Master degree in marketing, journalism, communications, advertising
  • Strong understanding of business and strategic topics, e.g. Munich Re's business model and driving forces for profitable growth, its products and trends.
  • Strong editorial skills.
  • Strong knowledge in content marketing programs and managing content marketing strategy
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and delivering digital formats that engage, inform and motivate
  • Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously, and continuously reprioritize
  • Knowledge of trends, analytics and best practices in digital and traditional marketing and communications
