In order to support the Airframe Systems Physical Architects team, Airbus Commercial is looking for a


Physical Systems Integrator (d/f/m):


You will be part of the Airframe Systems Physical Architects team tasked with developing new System Installation concepts and architectures to help ensure that Airbus continues to manufacture the world's best aircraft.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early careers graduate with a passion for aircraft design to develop herself/himself in terms of team-work and leadership; gaining a deep understanding of the operation and function of aircraft electrical and fluid-mechanical systems and of the structure they are integrated into.


Your location:

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • To define and integrate the physical system architectures for the next generation of Airbus aircraft
  • To review system functional requirements and create, configure and maintain physical digital mockups in Catia V5 and 3DX
  • To define system component specifications and follow Verification and Validation activities up to the expected compliance level per program milestone
  • To define, agree and maintain the interfaces (functional & physical) between the system and surrounding structure

Desired skills and qualifications:


  • You have a university degree in engineering or a comparable qualification
  • You are agile, have excellent communication skills and a strong work and team ethos
  • You have business fluent German and English language skills
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
