In order to support Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Internship within Airbus Procurement Processes and Governance Management (d/f/m):

Location: Taufkirchen / Ottobrunn
Start: or later
Duration: 6 months

We are an integrated team from all Airbus divisions (Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence and Space, Airbus Helicopters) and are located at eight different Airbus sites.

Depending on the tasks, some business travel to Spain, France or UK can be involved. Our department enables and supports the Procurement teams through management and implementation of governance and processes.

Our site in Taufkirchen is just a stone's throw away from Munich city center, the beautiful capital of Bavaria and easily reachable by subway/bus.

Your tasks and responsibilities
We are offering a challenging and rewarding internship in Munich/Taufkirchen.

You will be supporting the Procurement Process and Governance Team on the daily business and on two dedicated projects:

Sustainability:

Analyze ongoing sustainability efforts and their real impact on the department.
Provide new ideas and recommendations on concrete sustainability measures for the department.

Artificial Intelligence:

Analyze the impact of AI on procurement activities and provide a future outlook
Provide ideas how to best capture the benefits of using AI in the department
Maximize the use of existing Generative Artificial Intelligence at Airbus

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled full time student within Business Management/Administration, Communication, Procurement and Supply Chain, Legal/Compliance, Information Technology or similar field of study.
High level of autonomy and drive (you will however be supported by a tutor from the department)
Good communication skills with an openminded and proactive attitude
Desire to create and foster your own network within the company
Selforganized
Project management skills, a certification or at least a high interest in managing projects
Fluent in English (verbally and in writing) as the business language is English
German, French or Spanish will be a plus
