Duties:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in providing recruitment and placement services to NAF activities.

  • Utilizes automated recruitment tool; builds and edits hiring manager user accounts.
  • Generates vacancies for job announcements by entering applicable position and organizational data.
  • Creates Job opportunity announcements; rates, verifies eligibilities and refers all qualified applicants.
  • Onboards new employees, to include preemployment paperwork, background checks and scheduling drug testing appointments.
  • Conducts inprocessing for new employees.
  • Enters personnel data into an automated personnel database and builds applicants and positions within that database.
  • Provides an overview of employee benefits and personnel matters including, but not limited to, insurance, retirement, 401(k), unemployment, workers' compensation, and awards.
  • Provides clerical support to Human Resources office by distributing personnel actions, creating and maintaining official personnel folders, and assisting with filing and other administrative duties.
  • May serve as Records Management POC.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifying Experience:
  • Experience performing clerical work in an office setting and providing customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Experience utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, to include PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel)

Education:

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
