Duties:
The Primary Purpose of this position is to perform and/or assist other recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor recreational facilities within the Community Center.
- Sets up recreation areas and event spaces for scheduled activities
- Posts announcements, respond to inquiries, arrange trip and tour reservations
- Checks the facility's established safety system and equipment
- Collects fees, helps maintain resale operations and protects funds
- Takes inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment
- Helps monitor group activities
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires satisfactory completion of preemployment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

Qualifying Experience: - Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures
- Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable, however, no experience is required
Education:
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
